Blogspot: Maple Syrup & Boerewors

MAPLE SYRUP, BOEREWORS AND ALONG THE WAY... is a blog that my brother recently started up. I think he is so funny, and even though he has only done a couple of posts, I'm sure there will be plenty more to come.

This is what he has to say:

Hello!

My name is David, im from Newcastle, Kwa- Zulu Natal, South Africa and im 22. I left home when I was 18 straight after finishing High School and moved to London, England just like a million other South Africans do after school. I stayed in london for 4 years, house sharing with friends untill their working holiday visa's expired :( They left London and I moved into a random new houseshare where I made some awesome friends. Maple Syrup? I met Ali in London, she is Canadian. We were dating for 3 months before her visa expired and the request to extend it was declined. She had to return to Canada... and so here im sitting, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The reason I have started this blog is to keep track of everything in my life, so that one day I can read back and remember all the good times I've had.

Go check him out!

Blogspot: Little Miss Medic

I love reading Little Miss Medic! This is what she says about herself:

"A South African doctor living in London. Trying her hand at travelling around Europe, whilst working part-time. Book lover, fashion follower and eternal pessimist. All the stories are true, but names have been kept anonymous"
She is super funny and I love the hospital and patient stories!

Blogspot: Domestic Sluttery

Domestic Sluttery has been a favourite of mine for a couple of years now! I have used many of their recipes, been inspired to shop and drank at a few of their recommended pubs! Love the domestic sluts!

Blogspot: Miss Preggy

Miss Preggy is young, single, pregnant and extremely honest! I love reading her stories and her pregnancy updates! This is what she has to say about herself:

Why I Blog

I think now i can honestly say I have made every cliche' life mistake a person can make in life and I'm only 23. My latest accomplishment - getting knocked up by my boyfriend of 2 months who decided he wasn't going to stick around but came back after a while for the baby. So here I am back at my parents house, working for my fathers company, putting my career on hold, pregnant, single and somehow supposed to be happy and excited about the miracle of life inside me. When all I really want to do is vomit all the time, chop my oh-so-tender boobs off and somehow find my way out of this dark whole I have landed myself in. This blog is going to be honest, rude if need be, nice when i feel it and maybe at some point cute and fluffy but all in all it's a journal of my pregnancy and everything that goes with it.

Blogspot: Raising Men

There are so many great blogs out there that I read on a daily basis, as well as always discovering new awesome ones! I thought it a bit selfish to keep these to myself, and have decided to do a weekly post on a favourite blog.

 This week's blog is:

My mom introduced me to Raising Men a few months ago, and I've been a daily reader ever since! Natasha is a 27 year old mother of two and is so extremely honest about her life.  I love her writing and the way she is not afraid to say what she thinks. She is very kind and is always wanting to help others, even though she has a few struggles of her own!

Being a South African living in the UK, her blog is a daily reminder of my home country! I have also discovered great new blogs through her.

Please go over and have a read, if you enjoy honest, real life stories, you will not be disappointed!
