Made this for a friend of mine as a first mothers day gift!

Crochet #4

I have now made 18 squares, a bit slack as I have been really busy the past week!

I'm also very excited, because look what came in the post today:

All the way from Hong Kong! I ordered them on eBay, they were only 59p plus £3 postage, and they arrived with 4 days! Not bad considering on the eBay page, it stated that it would take 11-23 days! Can't wait to start on new projects! xoxo

I made a few squares on the weekend! Have worked out I need to make 49 squares for the size blanket I want to make!

7 Down...42 to go! I'm getting a lot better at it, and a lot quicker, but still the occasional 'slip up'.

I bought this bag in New Look yesterday to use for my crafts when I'm on the tube! I love it, it's so cute and feminine with a touch of vintage! It was £6.99

I have finally finished a couple of squares! Now I need to work out how many I need to make to complete a blanket! This is so addictive!

Crochet #1

I've decided to take up crochet, and hopefully get to a point where I can make all kinds of things and sell them!

I think I was a bit ambitious! It's goign to take me a while to get to that point!

I'm learning how to do granny squares, and the first project I have set for myself is to make a double bed size blanket!!

I'm going to blog my progress! Hopefully this will expand and I will soon be able to post pictures and patterns for other items I make!
